La-Max Kennels is no longer breeding or showing dogs. We are strictly a research kennel now. I've been collecting pedigree information for years. Now, I'm finally starting to do something with it. I'm slowly compiling all information I have into PDF documents. I'm meticulous in my transcribing of the information into a more readily available hard copy or electronic format. Why purchase and store great volumes of books, magazines, catalogs, ect. when you only want or need one breed? The prices below are not so much for the information itself, but for my time in compiling it.
I have a wide variety of information sources. Including AKC Stud Books, Field Dog Stud Books, American Field Newspapers, AKC Gazettes, old magazines and dog show catalogs. Once I retrieve the information I want out of any one source, I then sell that source to fund the purchase of more.
When I have a certain amount of information for a particular breed, I will put the link for it here.
I have decided that I will be offering this information through CafePress when it is ready.
